It had many merits in the past, but are we sure that it was Linux or it was the free software phylosophy ? Now i think it is not going towards the right direction, it growing in a chaotic way and i don't understand on what basis features are included or excluded.

To who says "Using the Gentoo distro you have to spend days compiling": 1st - it is reductive to think to Gentoo only as a distro, its a meta-distro (without Linux for example). 2nd - It's not my problem: i have 200 CPUs that compile for me :-)

Tuomo (the developer) is trying to keep the entire planet away from ion3 (I don't know why he is keeping ion3 available to download) but his work is really great. Ion3 is absolutely the wm i was searching for.
